about

Steve Tilston has very generously allowed us to record our version of his BBC Folk Awards 2012 winning number, as the joint best new folk song of the year.

I heard Steve sing this song at the Prospect Inn in Weston Village, Cheshire, where, ironically, poisonous industrial waste from not so very long ago actually did seep through the sandstone under and into peoples' houses.
