This track is about the Victorian Quaker capitalists, from the viewpoint of the working man. Love them or hate them, many made huge steps, not only for capitalism but also in social change, much or which is still visible and working today. In some cases the wealth that was built up in those days is still serving society. The song, hopefully, is fun (bit of a knees up!) but also is intended to make a point.

George Cadbury’s not a merry old soul
Jo Rowntree‘s pretty stern
And since I am not an Anglican
It’s pretty hard to learn
Mr Lloyd and Mr Barclay
Might lend me a penny or two
To buy a bag of Carr’s biscuits
